America's Next Top Model

So, the show aired on channel 5 yesterday.. I still think manhunt is much better compared to this show; lesser bitchiness.. yeah lesser.. anyway, i think that some of the contestants in this season are shockingly disgusting.. How can they even qualify in the first place? But some of them are hot.. while some are not.. Let me give you some examples..

even tyra banks doesn't look pretty.. she only does when covered in make-up.. So yeah, i'm rooting for either of the two to win this competition.. Kyle or Ebony.. Do leave your comments for the last model.. lol..

i don't see a problem with that "Fatty" being in the show. what's so different between
her and the other contestants? just because she's bigger doesn't mean she's any worse.
also, why do people often get discriminated just because of their size? at least she
has had the courage to even ENTER the show in the first place. i think its ridiculous.
also, kim is a GIRL, not a guy. not all girls have to have slender bodies or LONG
hair just to meet your substandard definition of a "GIRL". she gets beautiful throughout
the show, by the way, kim does. i don't think you're fit for the show, anyway. ^.^

this is izza, by the way. and i would LOVE to see your response or defense.

oh well, well, well.. my fellow schoolmate.. firstly, this show isn't abt courage.. it's about your good appearance in photo shoots.. and to become a model, you need to be of a certain standard size.. to be able to fit into all the clothes.. if you're fat, you'll just rip them apart.. oh and for kim, i just think she's not feminine enough.. it's just a personal opinion and i didn't say she's not a girl.. so that's all i have to say my friend.. xoxox

it's about your good appearance in photo shoots.
it seems like you still have ALOT to learn about modelling. if she isn't courageous enough, how would she able to pull off a good outfit? let alone model well enough to "look good in photo shoots"? are you trying to say you'd rather put one hell of a timid girl who's thin and skanky into the show, who might get this 1 in a million slim chance of looking good in photo shoots while NOT having the courage? also, what kind of clothes are you talking about? there IS such a thing called "plus-sized" and "LARGE" instead of just "XXXS". that's when she comes in, and no, i doubt she'll rip plus-sized outfits apart. she isn't that fat to begin with anyway.

i accept your opinion about kim being not feminine enough for you, you just didn't have to phrase it in such a way that you challenged or questioned her sex or gender, that was just mean.

oh well.. i think she's just wasting her time joining the competition.. in the end, who will end up winning the competition? the non fatty.. let's just see.. and have u seen any plus-sized model getting more fame than those petite ones? that means fat=not so successful.. when you look at the runway shows, have you seen a plus-sized model working for top brands? isn't this "america's next TOP model"? this goes to show that there are only a few who thinks like you.. and who cares about me being mean? there are other meaner bloggers who criticize celebrities continuously.. that's it my friend.. xoxox

first off, there's probably VERY few people who think like me. but that just increases the chances of the probability of having a few smart people in the world who actually care for others and their own opinion, apart from not being afraid of taking a stance at whatever they had to say.

when you say who will end up winning, i cannot argue much with you because it's true that she didn't win. however, putting her down just because she's FAT (is she really?) and saying she doesn't stand a chance to win doesn't promise her a spot in the 'clearance bin' or the 'ousted women' category. degrading women and saying she doesn't deserve to be on the show just because of her size doesn't make it a valid point. if you were to critisize her based on her TALENT and her INABILITY to carry designer clothes well, than i shall stop biting back.

as of now, i really cannot think of a bigger model who has been more famous than a petite one, but then again - why are you using the commonly used patriarchal standards to judge women? oh, let's sit together at the bar and laugh at every fat woman that comes along because oh well. fat women are stereotyped as big bozos who either don't look very good or can't model.

size does not constitute a TOP model, like many might think. tyra banks retired with her last show on Victoria's Secret even though she's still like, stick-thin. anorexic people are rejected from modelling agencies because they're thin. again, does thin-ness have to do with modelling? no, right? it's got to do with talent, and whether she/he can rock the runway. so why does fat-ness receive so much ill opinion from people?

i haven't seen the show myself, and i'm not going to lose my life savings on a bet that says that she's any good of a model, but i just don't think it's right you discriminated her in such a way. i'm going to leave it here as well, and i'm going to leave you to trigger my senses and make me ramble alot more.

i don't care about you being mean. i care about people being mean to women. have you ever heard the word feminist? go check the dictionary.

oh, and another thing to add. you might want to check out this informative page on ANTM , hit Ctrl + F and search for plus-sized. there are ALOT of examples there in which you might want to incorporate into your posts next time.

Consider this a challenge for your opinion.

"The plus-sized model, Diane Hernandez, was eliminated due to her lack of confidence and awareness in her body." -Under the paragraph of 'Cycle 5'

Does that show to you that while plus-sized models are OPENLY and READILY being accepted into the show, they are, moreoever, being condemned for not having confidence or awareness in her body. Indirectly, that proves the point that the people behind ANTM definitely want plus-sized models to be confident and aware of their body, to flaunt it well and to make sure they're comfortable in their own skin. If somebody is going to get eliminated for showing such negativity, surely you don't say being plus-sized and proud is a crime?

Also, you might have read (or not, I don't really care either way) and article about Tyra Banks doing an experiment. She wore a fat costume out into the street one day. Upon her first 3 minutes, people were sniggering and laughing at her appearance on the streeet. She claimed to have been "revolted" with that.

So um.. is Tyra Banks on my side, or yours?

Think about it.

Uh is the last person a guy or a girl? You said that Kim is a tomboy and you actually put a guy's face ( i.e YOURS) at the back. HAH. Talk about contradictions.
